The two-headed anterior arm muscle that flexes the elbow and is the most powerful supinator of the forearm, especially with the elbow flexed.

Long head: supraglenoid tubercle of the scapula. Short head: apex of the coracoid process

Radial tuberosity and, via the bicipital aponeurosis, the deep forearm fascia
